Fluff Tester (PATRA TYPE)
The tester enables fluff to be measured
easily after simulating the action of printing press using a dry
blanket. It is based on the concept of PIRA.
The tester is capable of giving reproducible results and the fluff

paper (the cobb value) is defined as the quantity of water
abosrbed in a given time by one side of a unit area of paper or
board placed horizontally under a head of 1cm of water.
